Quick report

Cracking
widespread
Collapsing
specific

Toured up mean peak starting on the west face and traversing to the North face. Winds were strong minimum 30-40mph. Lots of snow transport from the south face to the north face. Wind may have been increased due to the topography of the area. S aspect and SW aspect were wind stripped and the NW and N aspect were filled with 8-16” of new snow. Many areas had a wind hardened surface. Found a couple of test slopes where there was significant cracking and slabs would release anywhere from 10-30cm down. They were somewhat stubborn to release but would generally release once under cut. While skiing low angle in the trees I experienced a propagating collapse with a large whumpf. Temperatures were below freezing with light snows intermittently.
