Quick report
We went out with the goal of skiing the Banana couloir. The line is probably skiable but not fully filled in yet. We skied both the South and North faces of the yawning glacier instead. We were surprised to find decent and similar skiing on both sides. Snow alternated from a few inches of windy blown chalk, and a hard but not icy crust. Skiing was enjoyable but not amazing. Glacier was filled in well.
Avalanche
Saw a few D1-D2 slides on the south facing slopes of cascade pass, most likely wind slabs. We found non-reactive wind deposited snow as we climbed cascade pass.
