Toured directly up from the twisp river sno park, on north aspects up to 5100.

From 2200-3200 there was only 6-8 inches on top of bushes and downed logs. It gradually improved and by 3800 was quite acceptable. HS 70 cm at the ridge at 5100. Excellent skiing up high, light preserved powder, slightly deeper than boot top. Remarkably calm with no wind effect even in the open on the ridge.
