Quick report
In Gulf of Slides the predominate surface was wind hardened and wind textured from hours of extreme winds. There were isolated areas of softer, smooth snow. In areas assessed this was found to be stubborn. Higher in terrain there were smooth new snow drifts observed in steeper terrain, that represented the areas that could be of concern. These were small, isolated, and easily identified.
The thin crown line in the Snowfields were slightly more filled in.
Light snow was blowing at ridgelines. For the most part this snow seemed to funnel down the hard surface and collect in low angled areas in the trees.
Clouds began clearing around 0900, did not observe any snow accumulating from upslope snow showers.
