Temp was around 22-25f, skies overcast, wind 0-5, occasional squalls of snow, accumulating 0.5-1” over 9a-11a. New snow was 4-6” low density over a pencil hard crust which decreased in hardness with altitude. New snow seemed well bonded to old, but with minimal load, low confidence on that. No wind effect or wind transport observed below tree line. Riding conditions were fair to good on lower angle slopes. Overall good stability below tree line, expecting sluffing if moving into steeper terrain.
