Quick report
Above freezing temperatures have created an overall wet snowpack that continues to be strong over weak. The snow above the persistent weak layer has become solid and strong. Persistent slab avalanches and wet slab avalanches could occur on this aspect. Roller balls from warming wet snow was observed. No cracking or woomphing was observed.

Weather has been trending warmer. Partly sunny skies and 40 F has melted some of the new accumulated snow. Light winds out of the S/SW.
Snowpack
Stability tests were done on a SE aspect with a 26 degree slope angle and an 82 cm snowpack depth. A wet slab over weak early season persistent facets was observed in the snowpack. No fracturing occurred within 30 taps in the column test. No propagation occurred within 30 taps in the extended column test. Hand hardness test is as follows: Fist, 4, 2, 4, 1, 2, 4, fist.
