Worst Conditions In 20 Years

Generally very poor ice conditions right now following a long stretch of warm weather. Lots of water running and undermining ice. Ice climbs with lower flow rate and substantial initial mass are still climbable but difficult to protect well. Kroken area is the most reliable currently. And there are some climbable routes in the Upper Gorge and near Vermonk bridge. We climbed Vermonkbrufoss Ost yesterday and Bakveien as well as Sabotorfosson today. The climbs today were quite wet.
