Fresh snow in town activated my impatience so I decided to take a look at Mumfords. Unfortunately it seemed warmer on the Lutak side with light drizzle and no snow accumulation at sea level. Just enough snow to skin at the lower meadow. 50cm overall depth at the upper meadow 1200'. 65cm depth at 1900'. Snow was heavy and pinwheels were observed on steeper aspects. Lots of brush and creek holes. This zone needs more snow.
