Quick report
Very dense snow until 4000ft. Still heavy above that but progressively lighter. We then noticed more wind loaded areas above that elevation where the snow was light enough to be moved and deposited, but it was relatively easy to avoid. Skiing down we decided to traverse one steeper section towards our intended descent location which was where we caused a minor slide, but that was the only location we experienced this.
Avalanche
Went up to the divide and saw the a lot of wind affected snow. Skied back down towards the humpback towards snow lake and had a dense wind slab come off. Small and not enough to knock us off our feet but went straight to the crust.
