Was able to skin from the road with a few spots of hiking on dirt. Travel from 4800 feet and up was soft and slow. Stopped short of the peak to avoid scrambling up the loose rock at the top. Snow was cracking underfoot during the skin up, could pick up a 3ish inch thick slab. We had hoped to come down the open north aspect, but stuck near the trees where the snow felt more dust on crust and less sinking through soft slush
