Attempted Mt Lefroy on Saturday. Turned around at 3100m due to limited visibility, mediocre ski quality, and low energy. Above 2600m there was 5-10cm of new snow, though quite wind affected. Included a photo from the death trap of an open crevasse with a poor snow bridge nearby. This opening wasn’t visible when I did the same route on May 12th. Coverage to and from the toe of the glacier is very limited and we had to remove our skis many times.
