Observed a natural avalanche in East Mail Cabin as detailed. I did not see the debris and it was hard to get a picture. All tracks in the area were accounted for. Saw cracking in North facing terrain at 8600'. Cracking 40' wide en echelon but not moving due to lower slope angle/ friction. Touchy 20-30" slabs along Trail Creek and Mail Cabin. Failing on surface hoar and falling 5-10' down into the creek. We intentionally triggered small avalanches along the creek. The larger avalanche we observed was Natural.

E, 8200" N-SS-D2+ I could only see a part of the crown but it looked to be 20-30". Ran into a terrain trap.
