Hiked up main gully of GoS. Didn't notice any instability and the boot pack was well established. A lot of sastrugi at the upper portion. There was a huge crown line in the sandbox.

Huge crown line in the sandbox area. GoS seemed generally stable with some pockets of wind slab on lookers left. Some boot penetrative up to my shin/knee and some old cracks observed. I was not concerned with stability, the snowpack seemed stable from all the wind. A trip from last weekend in the Pemi showed me the weak facet layer at the bottom, and I had that on my mind. Crown line in sandbox did not seem to have windloading - maybe fresh? Huge debris field at the bottom.
