Quick report
Today we toured up Sub Shields. We observed calm winds with light snow fall and intermittent sun. We observed limited wind affected snow, with no cracking or obvious wind slabs. Above about 6400' a thin surface crust was present which increased in thickness until our high point around 7000' and had minimal impacts on ski quality.
