Quick report
No instability other than very minor wet rollerballs and warming upper few inches of snow from temp and sun, very wind affected snow surface above 7000 feet. Old crown from an avalanche probably last Tuesday from wind loading, 2-3’ deep.

Nice light breeze from SW. very warm out of the wind. Colder at lower elevations.
Snowpack
Snowpack is about 7 feet deep right side up and strong and stable. Failures in extended column test initiated on density changes as well as 85cm down on 1/3 rain crust yet non of the failures propagated. I even did a deep tap test on the 1/3 crust and it withstood 22 taps before breaking. We couldn’t notice any facets under the crust, and the crust is bonded to the snow above it well.
