Quick report
Day started with S1 snowfall, and started to clear around 10:30. BKN cloud cover through mid-day. Some clearing allowed us views of larger terrain in the area. We did not observe any natural or skier triggered avalanches, despite numerous ski tracks in popular areas. We did not observe any signs of instability.

Snowpack
We observed approximately 15-18 cms of recent storm snow. New snow rests on a variety of surfaces, including MFcr on solar aspects, and firm P hard snow on N aspects. In snow profiles, we observed softer faceted snow under the P hard layer and MFcr, but did not have any results on this layer or the new/old snow interface in our snow pit tests. In a total of 10 snow pits dug on N and NW aspects between 9100-9200', we did not get any significant results in CT or ECT tests. One CT test on a SW aspect did have a CTM SC at the interface of the new and old snow.
