Quick report

Observed less recent avalanches (from last 4.5 days) but still limited with visibility. Upper East Basin of Chair ran but not as big as would have expected (~D1.5/R1) and didn’t see any debris on other steep slopes above or coming off Snow Lake Divide. Saw more dirt/pine needle blowouts where new creeks eroded snow spitting mudflow onto snow surface. Still lots of water moving underneath the snow with greater uncertainty of creek/lake crossings and new blowouts. Snow Lake has significant standing water on it (over ice) but a certain skin wrecker if not an over boot top buzz kill. Lots of ice fall from trees per latest freezing rain event(s) on surface along Snow Lake Divide. Also surprised that slopes without wet debris skied good. Yep, not fair but good. More stickiness at lower elevations but higher has less ski pen (0-5cm) and resistant free goodness.
