Quick report

Skier triggered dry loose/sluff. Two turns worth of sluff was enough to trigger a dry loose on poorly bonded crust and gathered more snow/faned out as it ran down slope. Total slide path length was roughly 250ft No direct signs of natural triggers or reactivity. Obvious signs of wind loading with beaver loaded pockets with occasional spindrift. Cut a block of cornice and dropped it down the chute first, no reactivity, ski cut top of chute as well as suspected trigger location/ loaded pockets- no reaction.

Snowpack

Approximately 5inches in the last 48hrs on top of bullet proof crust. Poor adhesion to crust interface. Aggressive turns or hockey stoops would result in sluff slides and cutting down to crust. Hand pits were mixed and inconclusive.
