It was a decent little storm for the north slope with the trailhead getting around 8" and a nice 10-12" for areas above 10,000'. Far from winter conditions for getting out a doing much riding and turning, but things are starting to look a little better with each storm.
Only about 12-16" on the ground around the Steiner area and encouraged to not see weak sugary snow near the ground. The snow pack is generally soft storm snow on top getting slightly denser towards the bottom where early October snow fell.

- <p>Fairly gusty winds today making for some dense drifted snow even in normally protected areas. Not a lot of snow yet to worry about, but some places along the higher terrain beginning to fill in. </p>
