Quick report
A very brief tour into Marion drainage due to very cold temperatures; temps never rose above 8F. Sunshine throughout the tour, however a cloud system rolled in later in the day and began snowing (5pm). Wind affected snow evident on ridge top as previously reported by other parties but surprisingly not on the lower slopes we chose to ski. Skin track from 2 days prior was completely filled in on ridge top. Skied south and north aspects and slopes >35*. No signs of instability on either. No formal snow tests but a very firm layer could be felt with a ski pole roughly 40cm down. The snow above this is still right side up and mostly unconsolidated but seems to be slowly setting up/consolidating (subjectively based on how it felt and skied). Skiing quality was excellent.
