Quick report
Conditions on Paulina Peak today were pretty textbook spring riding. We found good corn snow riding on the aspects we rode (north was still firm at noon). There are some frozen debris piles and roller-balls from last Saturday's rain, but I didn't see any evidence of Wet Loose avalanches in the last few days. We didn't travel on any steep south slopes (there aren't particularly a lot at Paulina), but I might have expected to trigger small Wet Loose avalanches if we had. Warmer weather over the weekend will lead to an increased possibility for Wet Loose avalanches on sunnier slopes.

Clear and mostly calm. Temperatures from the summit weather station were relatively cool at midday, but it felt warm in the sun (I skinned in my sunshirt).
Snowpack
There is a uniform melt-freeze crust on all aspects from last weekend's rain and then six days of continued melt each day and freeze each night. By midday the surface had softened enough to provide pleasant skiing on northeast slopes. North slopes were still a bit firm at noon.
