Quick report
Toured up to and around the Silcox hut from the parking lot. There were a handful of other doing the same or heading higher. Snow conditions were variable, plenty of rocks still exposed/thin cover, some icy sections and some sections of enjoyable fresh snow as well. Weather was nice and Sunny, around ~33-37°. Plenty of signs of wind effected snow and wind loading. Did a very quick compression test on my way up on a small test slope on an East aspect of a gully around 6150ft and saw some signs of instability (sorry for the lack of test detail, test was very quick).
