Occasional cracking on steeper/more exposed sections of upper crooked couloir revealing ~1inch to 8inch crown small slabs falling away. Snow was generally stable elsewhere, and careful travel while avoiding or poking at surface deformations from a distance, noting small sizes, kept me confident enough to continue upwards.
