In exposed areas, the snow was wind effected creating an upside-down snowpack within the new snow.

HS measurements: 55cm @5200', 90cm @5800', 125 cm @6200'.
Avalanche
A few small recent D1 avalanches were observed in steep rocky terrain near the ridgeline. Poor visibility during most of the day limited additional observations.
