Heavy snow in AM, perhaps during the cold front passage, S2 for a short time followed by a bout of moderate to strong north winds. Things then calmed with off and on S1 stellars precipitation, followed by gradual clearing for the remainder of the day. Wind slabs reactive in leeward terrain on both the ascent and descent, especially near ridgelines - 40cm deep.

2 naturals observered while setting the trail in the morning. ENE in the middle gully approx 8,300' D2 - all of HST from the past few days on new old interface (2/12). Another smaller D1 in the middle gully, ESE 9,000 D1. One small D1 wind slab on north side of Albright, consisting of last night's storm snow. 10,100 NE. Wind slabs were easy to initiate and break while setting the skin track in leeward rolls, one small pocket releasing above me during peak north winds, but small in size.
