Quick report
We started at upper Twin Lakes with light snow in the morning, lower elevation looks like got about 1/4 inches of snow accumulation. The sky cleared up early afternoon. Fairly calm until reaching the valley before climbing up hulk. Nice faceted snow in the trees on north facing slopes, with drifts sparse drifts of wind blown powder above tree line. The western facing slope at the bottom of the couloir was wind scoured. The couloir itself is very wind loaded on climber's left side. At upper couloir, nearly 2/3 of the couloir is cover by a large wind deposited spine, with several inches of soft snow at places; while other places remain compacted. On the way back after crossing the river the skin track had melted significantly from the morning. We saw many places with less than one foot of coverage remaining and there was one short section we had to step out and walk.
