Quick report

Short tour in Swift Creek and 10 Minute Trees this morning. Rain line was around Heather Meadows (~4000') at 830 and seemed to stay constant or potentially rise throughout our tour. We did a couple laps in Swift Creek as well as a run down 10 Minute on our way out, finding very dense, cohesive snow on all aspects. Boot pen was shallow in Swift Creek (~10-15 cm) due to a stout crust under the new storm snow and deeper on the Bagley side (>30 cm), where more wind-deposited snow was present and the crust was deeper and thinner. Wind transport was relatively constant throughout our time out, but we did not observe any reactive wind (or storm) slabs or see any recent avalanches, though to be fair we couldn't see much of anything. Riding quality was acceptable.
