Loads of DH on the skin up, coverage very thin, bare spots in the forests at/near treeline on the W side of the ridge. Lots of shooting cracks, propagation of failures in wind affected areas, but no releases, even with aggressive ski cutting and loading. Watched one hairline crack grow to 2-3" wide over a 5 minute period but the slope never released (~26-28deg). Lots of signs that slopes should release, and are ready to go with a bit more loading.
