Quick report

There is 1-1.5 ft of new snow since it started snowing on Monday.  We saw many (at least 20) avalanches that broke 6"-1ft deep within the new snow, many of these were hundreds of feet wide. We also saw evidence of several slides breaking deeper (likely on the January facet layer) and running farther and piling up more substantial deris, but there was new snow on top of these slides and it was hard to tell specifics.

We triggered a ~2 ft deep avalanche on a small slope in Watkins Creek. It broke 100 ft wide on the January facet layer beneath a crust on a NE facing slopes at 8800 ft.

There was little/no noticable wind affect in the new snow. We did not get any cracking or collapsing (except when triggering the slide).
