Quick report

Yesterday we observed many propagating/SP results on BSH at the March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) new/old interface down 50-70 cm. Surface hoar was not observed to be present everywhere but is a major concern due to unknown, yet seemingly widespread distribution and continued reactivity in bonding tests. Last Friday, reactive BSH was observed in the around the Schwann Glacier and Pencil Glacier. Yesterday, BSH was observed closer to home, close to the coast. Additionally, while we have found SH near and far, we have also seen recent avalanches around nearly all aspects. We also observed a fairly widespread avalanche event that we believe can be linked back to PWL and wind loading/stiffening of snow into slab.
