Dug a pit at elv 7000 on a NE slope around treeline. Approx 60cm of firm new snow (approx 2 finger) on top of 10cm weak sugary snow (fist hard) over ice crust. ECTP6. Full propitiation, slab slid off the underlying crust with very little effort. No whumps, cracks or instability during the tour.
