Quick report

Skin track from day prior was hard as concrete. I got out earlier today to be in conditions with best snow potential. Overnight temps were in the low teens, so the nature of the snow changed a little (lighter in spots where it collected). The snow, where it hadn't yet been exposed to sun, was light and fluffy. Generally was caution due to steepness but snow felt really good (that changes as the sun hits it). I think I saw some surface hoar, too?

Avalanche

Avalanches observed on way up, in steep rocky gullies where they usually occur, likely happened sometime in the last day+ when the snow was really wet, before it got a chance to get cold.
