Quick report

Toured Mount Fuji from the Lolo Pass Visitor Center. We observed no signs of instability on the skin up the west ridge (including jumping on a couple test slopes). Dug a pit at 6000' on a mostly N (a little NW) aspect. HS ~200cm. The new snow since since the atmospheric river event seemed right side up transitioning from F to 4F until a layer of buried surface hoar and crust facet layer below this. These layers seemed to rounding with discontinuity/inconsistent height of the surface hour layer across the width of our pit. ECT 8N 25cm down within the new snow, 18N 55cm down within the new snow. No collapses or propagation on either the buried surface hoar or at the crust/facet layers. We spoke with another group out who performed an ECT little lower on the same slope who also had no propagation in their pit. Skied several laps on the NW aspect with no signs of instability.
