Weather
Light snow on and off through the day. Winds where whipping at ridgeline but much calmer lower in elevation. Temperatures were mild and it felt humid.
Snowpack
A lot of new snow on a bunch of weird surfaces. Cold weak snow lurks in the middle and bottom of the snowpack.
Avalanche
I triggered 3 D1 avalanches below treeline. All three avalanches failed at the new/older interface. On a more west slope the avalanches failed on a curst and on a more north facing slope that avalanche failed on weak faceted snow.
