A skier cut while traveling across the rocky, steeper start zone in east bowl around 230 pm started a small sluff in dry snow that ran quite a way down the slope. It was interesting to see the transition to wet slide characteristics and some channeling with the small decrease in slope angle as the sluff ran lower. A previous party had triggered similar sluffing nearby. Neither were very large and in the right terrain would still be a problem. As we migrated to the north facing slopes we found even the most protected aspects seemed to have already been warmed considerably. Around 9500 we noted a N facing slope with a natural that seemed to have the same wet snow chunk appearances. There will be quite a bit of refrozen sun affect out there until we get enough fresh to cover
