Quick report
We got a good look around Seattle Ridge during a brief weather window today. It is obvious the wind has been howling through the area, but the riding was surprisingly good. We got unstable test results on a mid-storm interface about 1-2' deep in several pits in the back bowls and saw evidence of a fairly widespread D1.5-D2 avalanche cycle from the middle of yesterday's storm. That seems to be healing quickly, with a ton of tracks in steep terrain and very little avalanche activity today.
We saw evidence of a storm snow avalanche cycle, but most crowns had been blown in.Weather

Partly to mostly cloudy. I was surprised how windy it was today. There was active snow transport all day.
Snowpack
We dug several pits and consistently got reactive and unstable results on a mid-storm interface from yesterday's storm. This was a low-density layer of dendrites (snowflakes) that should heal in the short term. Snow depth was around 8-13' deep, and the old holiday crust that we have been tracking was 6-7' deep.
