Quick report
Set out to explore climbing conditions in Huntington Ravine. On the way in we observed evidence of naturally triggered wind slab avalanches on NE aspects, above Odell's and South Gulley. Old debris at bottom of South Gulley made it appear that even a small amount of snow from above could run the length of the slope. Winds above were also out of the southwest with active snow transport. Surface snow at the ravine floor was wind affected crust. Central gulley appeared to be fairly well loaded. With all things considered, for today it seemed best to stay out of anything from Central to lookers left in terms of climbing objectives.
