Went out into the Wild River wilderness with the intention of checking out the upper slab area and skiing the glades off Baldface knob.

Found an extremely sensitive snow pack up high with several avalanches, D1 in size and isolated. Whumfing everywhere down low in the drainage.

Avalanche

East facing aspect, about 3200ft and on 30-40 degree slopes. Isolated between pockets of trees and in sheltered areas. Some potential that we remote triggered avalanches across the whole slab. The entire drainage was cracking and collapsing as whole unit all the way down. Do not follow the tracks all the way skiiers left unless you're looking for a lovely schwack out of Chandler Gorge.
