Quick report

A lot of different snow surfaces depending on where you are. Low elevation is wet, solar aspects have crusts, Northern protected aspects have soft snow, etc. be aware of where you are traveling and what's above you.

No clear signs of instability.

Cool calm day, flat light, broken clouds.

Snowpack

In the valley the top 20 cm was wet

Around 4,000' only the top 5cm was wet.

Around 5,000' the snow was not wet anymore

Southern aspects have a 4cm sun crust on top.  Northern Aspects have soft snow that is mostly right side up with one weak layer about rock down. It is bonding and had no propagation in tests.

On the hunt for any of the Near Surface facets that has been buried.
