Quick report

With warm temps and some rain on the North side and lower elevations we're keeping a close eye on the rain line as potential weather moves in this weekend, as rain on our snowpack could change things a lot.

Still tracking our typical buried facets weak layer. We got ECTP28 where we dug but a solid cohesive slab on top, which can be a big issue when you find a thin spot to trigger something larger.

Snowpack

A pronounced surface crust by the rain line that slowly disappeared as we gained altitude.

Where we dug there was a solid cohesive slab about 70 cm thick sitting on top of a faceted weak layer with a bed surface of hard ice we couldn't get past.
