Quick report
Winter like conditions began once leaving the parking lot. Low density snow blanketed the base area ~2inches at the base of chinook ~6inches at the top of quicksilver and ~10 inches in silver basin. We stuck to north facing aspects. Conditions for riding were very good considering the amount of new snow. No noticeable rain or snow while we were out there 8a-3pm
Avalanche
Silver Basin near boxcar. Single point release observed below rocky outcrop. No crowns or any other signs of instability.
