Quick report
No signs of wumphing or cracking. Snow showed signs of wanting to sluff. North and West aspects held 6 inches or so of soft and light powder on top of crust. Only some chunder around old tracks that had a few days to thaw and refreeze on these aspects. South aspects returning to source lake were more chundery and had thin crusts showing signs of thaw and refreeze.
Avalanche
Saw small D1 avalanches on the snow lake approach (SW aspect) originating from the base of rock cliffs. We also triggered some small D0.5 sluffs a few inches in depth in small open pockets of the steeper trees on avalanche mt (west aspect). Not large enough to kick us off our feet but kept us out of larger open steep terrain.
