Quick report
Afternoon jaunt to the top of Silver Fir for photos. This is probably the last weekend you'll be able to skin from the base of the Central resorts. It still goes, but the lower-elevation snowpack is darn thin. At 5pm, it was supportable on rando-race skis, which was a pleasant surprise. Skiing was pretty fun. No stickiness from pollen yet. All photos taken ~5:30-45pm PDT.
