The day started out snowing at 2 to 3cm per hour. About 25cm of wet fresh snow. Windy. Wind died down significantly at around 11:30 - but it was still accumulating quite a bit of snow when we left the parking lot a little after noon. Isolated cracking and collapsing in wind blown snow. visibility was bad before around 11:30 when it started to clear up some. Storm snow seemed to be adhering to the crust well. Hand shears were failing on an interface above the crust - no failures on the crust. Only experienced failures in isolation - no results in ski cuts or test slopes and didn’t see any other signs of instability.
