Quick report
Solid structure of snow with no signs of instability despite many facet layers near the surface. Skiing and snow tests suggested general stability in this area. Varying depths of new snow made for some firmer turns in dust on crust conditions. Overall ski quality was excellent. Wind loading was active earlier in the day, however we found no WDS on N, NE, NW, E, and W aspects. No red flags observed. Some dry sluffs which naturally occurred, plus some triggered while skiing.

Clear and cool weather with lots of sunshine. Moderate wind from the E with gusts in the 20mph range. Wind reduced to light to 0 around 1200.
Snowpack
Snow was consolidated with a variable amount of new cold snow on top. New snow depth varied from 2cm to 30cm depending on wind drifted snow averaging 10cm overall. New snow settled on an ice layer with facets below, with signs of consolidation. Hardness test showed F hard new snow to 1F down to P and K after about 50cm depth. Several ice layers exist within the snowpack. ECTX with hard effort shovel shear test breaking at 50cm down non-planer.
