Quick report

No signs of instability at higher elevations. Sunny day led to variable conditions. Snowpack test results showed no indication of instability. Rode confidently on higher, 35 degree aspects, past 40 degrees started experiencing slides, leading to avalanches. It was sunny all day, and our lines were thrown down around 12:00 Idaho time. Air temp around 30-35 degrees. Overall, seemed stable enough for 1 safe decent and then we called it. None of the avalanches we triggered would have buried anyone, but they would sweep you away of triggered above you.

Avalanche

Triggered several wet-loose avalanches on lower elevations on East facing aspects. Also watched 3 other skiers/snowboarders trigger 3 more wet-loose avalanches. Depths I’ve about 5-7 inches, as small as 10 ft to as large as 30+ feet wide.
