- <p>There were dozens of avalanches that occurred near this elevation on many aspects during the weekend storm cycle. Instability verified by poor snowpack structure and ECTP's. We experienced numerous booming collapses as we traveled today in low angle terrain. </p>
The primary avalanche problem these days across the Logan Zone is a buried persistent weak layer of sugary faceted snow, as pictured below.
