Snowpack
- Instability Comment
-
With a thin snowpack, I found my extended column results to have a lot of energy with both tests "popping" out.

For the warm temperatures, the snow was surprisingly good with the south aspects having thin but supportable snow and the shaded north aspects still having soft snow. In the shaded areas, the surface hoar is growing large with flakes reaching over 16 mm in size.
