Partly sunny throughout the day. Moderate WSW winds at times transporting snow. Soft powder in protected and leeward areas; wind buffed and firm riding in higher elevation exposed areas. General structure on NNE @ 9550’ (windloaded) from probing: 40cm (15”) of soft/new snow; firm mid pack 56cm (22”); 28cm (11”) of soft/weak snow near the ground. Total snow depth 1.24m (48”).

Observed 3 natural avalanches that likely occurred during previous 48hrs of snow and wind on steep north facing slopes between 9500-1000ft. These were wind loaded and below corniced ridge lines approx D2 in size.
