As you can see from the pit profiles there is quite a bit less snow in the southern part of the range.

- <p>Extremely poor structure. While not much of a problem currently with some water and wind I think this area will have some problems. </p> <p>With new snow in the forecast and very weak surface snow I think we will start to see sensitive wind slabs forming.</p>
We found wide spread surface hoar in most of the areas we rode today. In areas that surface hoar wasn't observed the surface snow was still very weak.
